Setting Up Dev Tools with Winget
Winget installs by exact package ID, which suits scripting. It does not configure your Git identity, SSH keys or project dependencies; those remain manual.
Commands
winget install --id Git.Git -e.
On failure, open the official page and continue.
After install
Reopen the terminal; verify with git --version, node -v, python --version.
Configure Git identity and SSH keys; keep them out of shared scripts.

Why is code not found?
VS Code is not on PATH or the terminal was not reopened; reopen and retry.
Can it install silently?
Winget supports --silent, but this tool keeps installs visible for confirmation.
